INGfertility: At the
SVF Foundation, we
regularly collect
and freeze semen
from sheep and
goats. We have been
using Pre-seed®
packaged in the
single use plastic
applicator tubes for
several years now as
the product of
choice to lubricate
the inner liner of
the small ruminant
artificial vagina
used to collect the
semen samples. The
applicator design
and volume of
lubricant works just
right for this
purpose. The tip of
the applicator is
placed just inside
the open end of the
A-V and the contents
expressed. Since we
only need a small
amount for each A-V
set-up, the single
dose packaging
causes no worries
about potential
contamination of
larger multi-dose
containers that may
sit around in our
incubator for weeks.

after seeing your
published results
with equine semen.
The human-sized
packaging is perfect
for our small
ruminant needs.

stays the
slipperiest the
longest…with other
brands I would often
have to re-apply
lube to the AV
because it dried out
if the male took a

or when training new
